Where a new brand usually starts

Most brands line up partners in this order. Each step links to the guide for it.

  1. Pin down the ingredients

Know the form and grade of each ingredient, and what its certificate of analysis (COA) should show, before you ask for quotes.

  2. Choose who makes it

Match a contract manufacturer to your format and certifications, then ask for minimums, lead times and batch records.

  3. Line up the packaging

Bottles, caps, labels and boxes that fit your co-manufacturer’s line. Test samples with your product, and leave room on labels for lot and expiry.

  4. Choose who stores and ships it

Pick a 3PL that records lot numbers and expiry dates on receipt and ships oldest-expiring stock first.

  5. Keep your own records

Each partner keeps its own records. You still need one view of every lot, from the ingredients you bought to the orders that shipped.

How listings work

Sourced, not scraped

Every claim on a listing (a certification, a capability, a warehouse location) links to the company’s own website.

No paid placement

Listings are free and sorted alphabetically. Nobody pays to appear or to rank higher.

No ratings or prices

We don’t publish reviews, ratings, prices or customer names. Ask each company directly.
